Lübbecke, Germany. Maintaining close relationships with customers remains a top priority for Merkur Gaming. Trade shows like the Peru Gaming Show are therefore of vital importance, offering the perfect opportunity for the German gaming specialist to engage in meaningful dialogue with its Latin American partners. At the Centro de Convenciones Jockey Plaza in Lima, from June 18 to 19, representatives from Merkur’s German headquarters and its local subsidiary, Merkur Gaming Peru, presented a compelling and entertaining portfolio – while providing ample space for high-quality conversations.
“The Peru Gaming Show is widely regarded as the most influential B2B gaming exhibition in Latin America, which makes our presence and interaction with clients during the event all the more significant,” said Ronald Díaz, General Manager of Merkur Gaming Peru. “I’m very pleased that we once again attracted a large number of visitors to our stand and succeeded in inspiring them with our products. The response was exactly what we had hoped for – I’m very satisfied.”
Linked Progressive Jackpots remain an absolute must-have for gaming venues across Latin America, and accordingly, Merkur’s jackpot systems Clash Link and Link Overdrive drew significant attention during the show. Clash Link captivated attendees with its array of unique jackpot mechanics that keep the action level consistently high. Featuring unlimited free games, a thrilling bonus feature, and a dynamic jackpot reel, this title delivers a high-frequency mix of engaging features that offer players a true adrenaline rush. Meanwhile, Link Overdrive impressed with its jackpot feature powered by the ever-popular Hold ‘n Spin mechanic, maintaining peak excitement throughout gameplay.
Another crowd favorite was the M-Prime multigame package, which not only boasts a streamlined menu layout and advanced player interface, but also stands out thanks to its extensive and thrilling game portfolio. Merkur Gaming showcased its content using the Mod Ex J55 as well as the Zonic Duo and Trio cabinets.
A new addition to Merkur Gaming’s stand this year was Spintec – the Slovenian ETG specialist and strategic partner of Merkur Gaming. The powerful regional presence of Merkur combined with Spintec’s ETG expertise and advanced technology has already proven to be a successful synergy, which was clearly reflected in their joint appearance at the Peru Gaming Show. Spintec showcased, among other highlights, a compact roulette solution with eight player stations, capturing the interest of many visitors.
“Despite continuing and highly impactful challenges on both landbase and online side such as the ISC Taxation (Luxury Tax), we experienced a very positive atmosphere at the Peru Gaming Show, as well as strong interest in new product innovations,” said Tomás Mieles, Business Development at Merkur Gaming. “We are therefore optimistic about the future of the Peruvian and broader Latin American gaming markets.”
